REQUIRES
1. Scientist C (Patent Information Centre) : One
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physics/ Chemistry/ Life Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in 1st division from a recognized University and minimum 4 years experience of work in Management of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs). 
Desirable qualification: 1. Doctorate in Science or Masters Degree in Engineering 2. Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights. 3. Knowledge of Patent filing, searching and Clearance of Patent Agent Exam will be an added advantage. Work Profile: Facilitation of IPR filing from Punjab & Chandigarh by organizing awareness activities and training. Conducting patent searches and preparation of IPR technology scan reports. Regular field visits to undertake studies to identify IP needs in educational institutions, research organizations and industrial clusters. To undertake activities w.r.t IP Auditing of academic/R & D Institutions, technology transfer & acquisition and commercialization of IPRs. Publication of awareness material. Reporting of the centre.
Pay Scale : Rs.15,600-39,100+Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- + HRA + DA + EPF only (L.T.A or any other allowance not admissible) Age : Shall not exceed 35 years on the last date of receipt of applications (Relaxable upto 5 years for Govt. Servants including those serving on contractual/outsource basis in Govt. Departments/Organizations)
Tenure: The above said post will be on contractual basis for a period of one year. Contract may be extended based on the performance.

Note: All the candidates who had applied for the post of ‘Scientist-C’ in response to the advertisement appeared in the ‘The Tribune’ & ‘Hindustan Times’ on 9.01.2016 and in ‘Employment News’ on 16.01.2016 would be eligible for the post if they meet the qualifications and other conditions mentioned in the advertisement appeared on 09.01.2016 & 16.01.2016. Such candidates need not apply again. They would, however, be required to submit their interest to be considered for this post and may also submit their CVs with amendments, if any.
