We, the team @ PAAi, are deeply saddened to hear about the untimely demise of Prof. (Dr.) Shamnad Basheer, one of the World IP Stars from India, in an unfortunate accident. He advised and mentored us whenever required since idea stage of establishing PAAi as an institution. We’ll truly miss him and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. His absence leaves a void in Indian IP space that cannot be filled easily. India will always remember his contributions to the Indian IP law and policy, and will never forget his efforts as civil society towards making medicines accessible in India. We pray that his soul rests in peace.
